MEDIA RELEASE DIRECTOR UPDATE
The Ottawa Main Street Association (OMSA) is pleased to announce that Sara Stauffer has been named the Ottawa Main Street Association Director. Stauffer previously served as the interim Director for OMSA and prior to that she served as the OMSA president.
Stauffer brings a wealth of experience and a keen understanding of community development. Her passion for creating vibrant and inclusive spaces aligns perfectly with the vision the current OMSA board has set for downtown Ottawa.
"I am confident Sara will be a tremendous asset to our community," says Riley Browning, Owner and Barber at Browning Barbering -Ottawa, KS and OMSA Board Member. "Her passion for community building, coupled with her strategic thinking, made her the ideal candidate for the OMSA Director role."
Stauffer's creative vision for revitalizing public spaces and organizing engaging events will undoubtedly bring a fresh perspective and exciting energy to the downtown area. Having a track record of successful projects demonstrates her thoughtful understanding of the unique character of the Ottawa community.
"Sara has proven that she has a true passion for bettering the OMSA and the Ottawa Main Street Businesses," said Tiffany Evans, Ottawa Memorial Auditorium Director and OMSA Board Chair.
"The OMSA board is proud of her accomplishments during her interim assignment, including the partnership's she has fostered with the City of Ottawa, Franklin County, The Chamber of Commerce and the Franklin County Economic Development Council."
"Her level of enthusiasm and dedication is unmatched," commented Evans. "The board is excited about the possibilities for our organization with her at the helm."
Stauffer lives in the Ottawa Community with her husband and two children. She also owns and manages a local small business, Revinylized Creations & Decor.
